Templates

Start faster with Templates—curated starting points you can preview and use.

Overview

  • Templates provide a pre‑configured foundation for common automations or policy sets.
  • You can “Use Template” to create an instance and customize fields.

Browse and Preview

  1. Open Templates from the sidebar.
  2. Browse categories or search by name.
  3. Open a template to view details and requirements.

Use a Template

  1. Click Use Template.
  2. Fill in required fields (connections, IDs, names, etc.).
  3. Create the instance and proceed to validation where applicable.

Map Required Fields

  • Connections: select an active connection (see Connections guide)
  • IDs: provide Team/Org IDs only if prompted by a template
  • Names: choose readable names that match your workspace conventions

Customize and Maintain

  • Update fields or thresholds as your needs evolve.
  • Re‑run validation to confirm changes.
  • If a template creates a policy, review it in Policies.
  • If it creates a blueprint, continue in Import Scenarios or Validate & Fix.

Troubleshooting

  • “Missing connection”: create/activate the needed connection first (see Connections).
  • “Template requires permissions”: ensure your role allows creating items from templates.
