Start faster with Templates—curated starting points you can preview and use.
Overview
- Templates provide a pre‑configured foundation for common automations or policy sets.
- You can “Use Template” to create an instance and customize fields.
Browse and Preview
- Open
Templatesfrom the sidebar. - Browse categories or search by name.
- Open a template to view details and requirements.

Use a Template
- Click
Use Template. - Fill in required fields (connections, IDs, names, etc.).
- Create the instance and proceed to validation where applicable.
Map Required Fields
- Connections: select an active connection (see Connections guide)
- IDs: provide Team/Org IDs only if prompted by a template
- Names: choose readable names that match your workspace conventions
Customize and Maintain
- Update fields or thresholds as your needs evolve.
- Re‑run validation to confirm changes.
Cross‑links
- If a template creates a policy, review it in
Policies. - If it creates a blueprint, continue in
Import ScenariosorValidate & Fix.
Troubleshooting
- “Missing connection”: create/activate the needed connection first (see Connections).
- “Template requires permissions”: ensure your role allows creating items from templates.
